Mary Largent Purvis

Mary Largent Purvis is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and an Assistant Professor of Law at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø School of Law, where she has taught Contracts, Legal Analysis and Communication, Criminal Law, Secured Transactions, Sales and Leasing, and Advanced Legal Analysis. She graduated magna cum laude from Millsaps College, and she graduated summa cum laude from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review. She also received her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Southern ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. Mary has served as the Board Chair for CASA ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, Board President for Healthy Centers Healthy Kids, and Chair for the Women’s Foundation of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. She served as a ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Legal Ambassador through ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Volunteer Lawyers Project in 2023. Mary is also a member of the Capital Area Bar Association and MS Women Lawyers Association.
