J. Mignon Kucia
Professor - Communication
Dr. Janet Mignon Wilson Kucia is a Professor of Communication at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. At MC, she serves as program coordinator for the public relations and strategic communication degree programs. A member of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø faculty since 2005, Dr. Kucia teaches professional communication skills, interpersonal communication, public relations, crisis communication, public speaking, and other communication courses.
Dr. Kucia serves as the Executive Director and past president of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Communication Association, was named Teachers of the Year by both the Public Relations Association of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø and the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Humanities Council, and serves as advisor for various organizations at MC. Kucia serves on the Faculty of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø School of Banking and sits on the inaugural board for Jackson Endeavors.
